Founded in 1863 to insure the thriving lumber industry throughout the Saginaw Valley, Saginaw Bay Underwriters (SBU) has always adapted to progress and change.

Today, with offices in Saginaw, Bay City and Midland, our 60 employees produce in excess of $80,000,000 of insurance premiums throughout Michigan and the United States, Canada and Mexico. SBU insures more than 17,000 customers.
